The forecast for last night was for clear skies, but the relative humidity was also supposed to head North of 80%. Still, you never get an image if you don't try. With the Moon a non-factor I thought about shooting another galaxy but I felt like changing things up and a reflection nebula would fit the bill. The Iris Nebula, NGC 7023 was well placed throughout the night.
I wanted to use 10m subs for color and that was kind of risky since it would take all night to get enough of them. However, the weather held and I ended up with 10 red, 9 green, and 9 blue subs for total integration time of 4 hours and 40 minutes. The last subs turned out to be the best.
