Every once in a while it is nice to go off the well beaten path and image something that is a little more unusual. I saw an image of this done by Luis Campos and knew I wanted to have a go at it. Given that it has no NGC, IC, or Sharpless #, I figured it was likely to be on the dim side. Because of that I decided to use 15m subs. I haven't created an image with that subs that long before so I was curious to see how well the equipment would hold up. I have done a few subs that long in the past but managing it once or twice is quite different than pulling it off for a night. I'm happy to say it worked out well.
This is 4 hours of integrated time through a Baader 7nm HA filter. All subs were useable. :)
