I have too much vacation saved up at work and I needed to take some soon or else I would lose it. The weather was beautiful here this morning so I took the opportunity to go play some golf. I used to play very regularly and even belonged to a course a couple times. But for various reasons, it has been a couple years since I played. I'm happy to say that although I was rusty, my game had not suffered near as much as I thought it would. My biggest problem was an occasional draw/hook with the driver. There are far worse problems to have. I had a great time and I need to do this more often. My best hole was probably my last one. I hit a beautiful drive up the hill. I then had a 75 yard sand wedge into the green. That stopped perhaps 15 feet from the hole. I missed the birdie putt but tapped in for the par. :)
When I got home, I then spent some time getting this website up and running. I really had wanted to get some of the information I have posted on Cloudy Nights condensed into one easy to access place. The threads on Cloudy Nights were great (and are still there). But they could become somewhat disjointed with questions, etc.
Now I just need to get around to processing my data for the Coma Galaxy Cluster, Abell 1656. I had already gathered and processed 4 hours 45 minutes of L data on April 17th. On the 20th, I was able to get 3 hours of color data and some additional L data as well to add to it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
