It has been a while since I posted an entry here and there are various reasons for that. Among them, I lost the hard drive in my desktop computer so I needed to replace that and get the computer back up to snuff. I had fairly good backups. However, things were complicated because my old hard drive was 512 bytes/sector and the new ones are 4096. Because of that, my backup didn't restore 100% correctly. In particular, Windows Update would not work (which happens when Microsoft thinks you don't have a legit copy). I ended up having to reinstall Windows 7 and my programs. Fortunately, I am now back up and running.
I have done a little bit of imaging in that time frame. Friday night (the 11th) things were very very humid. However, it was supposed to stay clear, and even better, it did. I set my dew heater up more than half way and had at it. I experimented with leaving my HA unbinned. This is the results from 4 hours 45 minutes on the Wall, part of the North America Nebula.
